 TYPES OF PLANTS

There are many different types of pants, but we can grow them into two main categories; flowering plants  and non-flowering plants.

Flowering plants are the plants that have flowers. Flowers are usually bright and colorful and attract insects like bees and butterflies. Some examples of flowering plants are roses, daisies and sunflower.

Non-flowering plants are the plants that do not have flowers. Instead, they usually have special structure like spores and cones that help them make new plants. Some examples of  non-flowering plants are ferns, mosses and pine trees.

Plants can also be grouped based on where they live. For examples, there are plants who grow in deserts, like cacti, and plants that grow in rainforest, like orchids. 

Plants can also be grouped based on how long they live. Some plants are annuals, which means that they live for only one year. Others are perennials, which means they can live for many years.

So, there you have it! Plants can be grouped into different categories based on whether they have flowers or not, where they live and how long they live.
