Plant Life Cycle

 HOW PLANTS GROW?

Plants grow in a special way that is different from the way animals grow. Here are the steps that plants go through to grow:

1. Seed - Every plant start as a tiny seed. Inside the seed is a tiny baby plant, waiting to grow.

2. Germination - When a seed is planted in soil, it start to germinate. This means that the baby plant inside the seed starts to grow roots, stem and leaves.

3. Growth - As the baby plant grows, it gets bigger and bigger. The roots reach down into the soil to drink water and take nutrients, while the stems and leaves reach up towards the sun to make food through photosynthesis.

4. Reproduction - Once a plant is fully grown, it can make flowers. Flowers are the way that plants make seeds. When a bee or another insect visits a flower, it carries pollen from one flower to another. This helps the plant make seeds, which can grow into new plants.

5. Life Cycle - Plants have a life cycle, just like animals do. This means they start as a seed, grow into a plant, make flowers, make seeds and then the cycle starts all over again.

So, there you have it! Those are the basic steps that plants go through to grow - seed, germination, growth, reproduction and life cycle. Each step is important for the pant to be able to grow and stay healthy.
