About Plants!

 WHAT ARE PLANTS?

Plants are living things that grows all around us. They come in different shapes and sizes, but they all have some thing in common. For example they need water, air and sunlight to grow.


You may have seen many plants in your backyard, in a park, or even in a pot inside your house. They can have green leaves, colorful flowers, or even prickly stem. But did you know that plants can also be very useful! Some plants gives us food to eat, like fruits and vegetable. Others can be use to make clothes, medicine and even paper!


Plants are also important for our planet. They take the air we breathe by taking in carbon dioxide and giving off oxygen during a process called photosynthesis. They also provide habitat for animals and help to prevent erosion.

So, in summary, plants are living things that need water, air and sunlight to grow. They can be used for food, medicine and other things we need. And they are important for our environment  and the animals that live in it.
